Launch of Non-Profit Association

Lechbinska Gallery has long been engaged in non-profit initiatives, including a fundraising auction for KKEV’s children village in Cambodia, and an architectural open call addressing urban challenges resulting in Züri Brännt project in 2023.

With the launch of the association, we aim to further extend this commitment by supporting the spiritual, intellectual, and artistic heritage of Christian culture, while fostering its continued exploration, preservation, and development for future generations.

Museum Exhibition — Kunstmuseum Thun

We were honoured to support Kunstmuseum Thun in presenting the museum exhibition of Angela Lyn. This collaboration marked an important milestone for the gallery, providing valuable experience, new perspectives, and deeper insights into the process of developing and presenting institutional exhibitions.

Launch of the Second Location, Mühlebachstrasse 14 — Lechbinska Forum

Lechbinska Forum extended the gallery’s cultural mission by fostering cross-disciplinary dialogue between art, culture, and critical thought, contributing to Zurich’s evolving cultural landscape. Through discussions, lectures, performances, workshops, and collaborative projects, the Forum created opportunities for meaningful encounters between artists, researchers from diverse fields, and audiences.

First overseas fair - West Bund in Shanghai

Participation in West Bund Art & Design marked a significant milestone for the young Swiss gallery, establishing Lechbinska Gallery as one of the top 100 Swiss galleries according to Artfacts.

For the Shanghai audience, the gallery focused on creating a strong solo presentation that highlighted the artists’ immersive and installative practices. The programme featured dedicated solo booths by Luo Mingjun (2023), Wu Guanzhen (2024), and Angela Lyn (2025).

Gallery spaces at Mühlebachstrasse 12 in Zurich

The gallery premises were conceived by KOSMOS Architects, an award-winning architectural studio known for its innovative and thoughtful approach to space, design, and contemporary culture.

The gallery programme was shaped around a dialogue between Asian and Swiss artists, bringing together diverse perspectives and practices informed by Asian philosophies, traditions, and sensibilities. Through a focus on mindful and contemplative art, the programme explored moments of reflection, connection, and cultural exchange.
