Lechbinska Gallery was founded in 2020. When the institutions closed their doors during the COVID-19 pandemic, the large and diverse community of collectors in Switzerland called for expert guidance in the art world. Lechbinska Gallery became a collectors’ space for mindful and deep-rooted dialogues with artists and among collectors themselves. The Gallery’s primary focus is the contemporary art created between cultures and identities. Its mission is to bridge cultural theories and artistic materials and techniques. Today the gallery represents a diverse range of institutionally recognized contemporary mid-career artists and some estates from Switzerland and the East Asian region.
Adjacent to the gallery, since 2024 Lechbinska houses a cultural forum, designed to be a dynamic intellectual and creative space in Zurich that extends the cultural reach beyond the gallery’s program. This forum serves as a bridge between art, culture, and critical thought, providing a platform for events that bring together diverse thinkers and innovators from various fields. It represents Lechbinska’s commitment to fostering cultural discourse and engagement.
