ARTIST IN FOCUS: Bignia Wehrli
Lechbinska Gallery is delighted to present a film about the artistic practices of Bignia Wehrli. Bignia Wehrli (*1979) born in Uster, Switzerland, is an artist based in Berlin and Sternenberg (Switzerland). She studied art at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts (Germany) at the École des Beaux-Arts Paris (France) and at the China Academy of Art Hangzhou (China). Bignia Wehrli translates ephemeral actions and everyday traces into images by inventing new techniques and instruments for their visualisation.
